Former "Hills" star Kristin Cavallari and Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler are expecting a child, People reported Sunday.

"We are thrilled to announce we are expecting our first child together," the couple said in a statement. "It's an amazing time in our life and we can't wait to meet the new addition to our growing family."

Cavallari, 25, and Cutler, 28, began dating in the fall of 2010, and got engaged — for the first time — in April 2011.

They called off the wedding in July and returned wedding gifts to friends in August, then got engaged again in November.

Cavallari initially denied that the wedding was back on, but later tweeted to her fans, "This time it's official...Jay and I are engaged again."

Quarterbacks need to take charge on the field – but was Jay Cutler too controlling in his relationship with Kristin Cavallari?

A friend of Cavallari, who knew the couple socially, says the Chicago Bears quarterback made things difficult for his former fiancée prior to calling off their engagement.

"Jay Cutler was beyond controlling and didn't really like Kristin to go out," the friend says. "When she did go out, he called all the time and demanded to know exactly where she was going and who she was with."

The friend adds: "He made her choose between him and being friends with a lot of her girlfriends. I'm not surprised it didn't last."

Cavallari, 24, and Cutler, 28, were first linked last summer. The former Hills star had been planning a wedding for next spring, and is said to be "absolutely devastated" by the end of her relationship.

Whenever I hear the friends card, I think the person is too immature to get married, if you want to go out then you should not be getting married.

This is not the fairy-tale ending Kristin Cavallari was hoping for.

After just 10 months together, Cavallari and Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler have called off their engagement, a source confirms to PEOPLE.

"She got dumped," says another source. "She's absolutely devastated. She can't believe this is happening."

The couple, who were planning a spring wedding, became engaged in April, when Cutler popped the question in Mexico. They had been spending much of their time recently in Chicago, and Cavallari had planned to move there during the upcoming football season.

"She was planning her dream wedding, the date was set, the location – everything was set," the source says. "She's in shock that the dream wedding she was planning is going to end this way."

Just a week ago, Cavallari Tweeted about her engagement party. "Thx to all my amazing friends for making my engagement party a blast last night!" she wrote.

The couple had completed their wedding registry, and Cavallari was determined to be in great shape for the wedding.

Saturday night Cavallari hit The Beverly, an L.A. lounge, and was spotted without her engagement ring.

"She was hanging out at a table with Nicky Hilton and Alessandra Ambrosio," a source tells PEOPLE. "She was telling friends how they called off the engagement."

A rep for Cavallari had no comment.

OJ Simspon confesses finally to murder of Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman?

The former couple had got into an argument after Nicole was said to have snubber Simpson when he interrupted a meal she was having at a restaurant with their children.

'O.J. said he went home and kept getting angrier and angrier and worked himself into an absolute rage,' the source told the Enquirer.

Simpson allegedly told the producer he 'didn't like the way she treated me in front of the kids at the restaurant. I didn't like that she was routinely having guys have sex with her at her condo with the kids there.

'I went over there to give her a piece of my mind,' he was quoted as saying.

When he arrived and no one answered at the house, he started pounding the door and shouting, according to the report.

The door allegedly then swung open and Nicole was standing there with a kitchen knife in her hand.

'O.J. told the producer, "she was yelling go away! Go away! And waving the knife around at me. At one point she was lunging at me with the knife and I was just trying to talk to her. Nicole stepped out of the apartment - slashing the knife in the air.

'"I was in such a rage that something just snapped. I couldn't take her constant taunting of me with other men or her using drugs and drinking while my kids were living with her. I went beserk.

'"Before I knew what I was doing I took the knife away from Nicole and started slashing at her. I cut her over and over again until she was lifeless. I was shocked at my own anger - I had killed the woman I had loved."

He allegedly went on to tell the producer he also knifed Ron Goldman in self-defence as he tried to attack Simpson when he turned up at the home soon after and spotted Nicole's body on the floor.

The shamed former sportsman was acquitted on October 3, 1995 of stabbing to death his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman after perhaps the most famous trial in modern history.

After the bodies were found in a pool of blood on her driveway in Los Angeles driveway, Simpson, who has until now maintained he did not commit the murders, began a bizarre slowspeed car chase with police.

Almost 100 million people are thought to have watched the events live on television as the sports star held a gun to his head while being driven by a friend.

He was allegedly headed for the Mexican border with $5,000 dollars and his passport when he was tracked by authorities.

Eventually, 27 police cars trailed him until he surrendered on his mansion's driveway an hour and a half later.

Despite huge amounts of evidence against Simpson, including bloodstains in his car, a glove holding DNA from the three, a sock engrained with traces of his victims' blood on his bedroom carpet and tapes of a terrified Nicole begging police for help as Simpson hit her - he was acquitted of the murders.

If the confession is made to Oprah on television, Simpson will not, however, suffer legal consequences.

Under the law of double jeopardy, a second trial is forbidden following an acquittal.

Seems plausible, do you believe it?

My thoughts on Casey Anthony....

Not going to give a ton of background as you have either followed the case and find it interesting or you don't.

In 2008 Casey Anthony claimed her child had been stolen by her nanny, Zanny. This was July 2008. In December 2008, Caylee, her daughter, was found dead in a area near her family's home. Over time, it came out Casey who claimed to have a job, did not, Zanny did not exist and Casey had told numerous other lies big and small. Casey was eventually charged with premeditated murder.

Fast forward to now, Casey's trial in Florida is nearing an end as the defense presents its case, their will then be some rebuttal witnesses and the case will be handed over to the jury in about two weeks.

What the prosecution says, Casey brutally murdered her daughter by chloroforming her unconscious, then wrapping duct tape over her nose and mouth suffocating her to death and then dumping her body. They alledge premeditation based on computer searches for chloroform.

The defense says Caylee died in a tragic swimming pool accident and Casey's father told Casey her mother would never forgive her and helped dump the body. The defense also alledges Casey was abused by her dad and that may explain her odd actions.

Some housekeeping, Caylee disappeared on approximatly June 16, 2008 and was not reported mssing until 31 days later when Cindy, Casey's mom, called 911. Again, everyone intially believed Caylee was kidnapped.

Caylee's father is still unknown and Casey has claimed he died in a car accident so he has never been in the picture or a part of this case.

George, Casey's father was at some point in his life a police officer, keep this in mind as you read.

Casey has a brother who she alleges molested her as well.

So as we start, do I believe the prosecution theory, no. Do I believe the defense theory, no.

Do I believe that Casey was molested? Honestly I am up in the air on this one, abuse survivors because of that history can act odd but she lived with her parents until shortly before Caylee disappered so part of me has a hard time believing if you were molested you would put your own daughter at risk. Again though abuse surivors because of that trauma do not think "normally" always. I personally don't find the abuse alledged a key to the case regardless.

I do believe the Anthony's are odd people. George likely had affairs. Casey and her mom had a tumultous relationship at best. Cindy comes across as biting and critical at times. The Anthony's refused to acknowlege for months Casey was even pregnant. George and Cindy saw Caylee almost daily until June 2008, yet waited a month to call authorities although Casey was giving every excuse in the book why they could not see or speak to Caylee. Again, George was a cop. Casey was lying about going to work for almost two years, yet the Anthony's according to them never doubted she was working. This to me all screams of a highly dysfunctional family.

What we know about Casey, she was lazy, we know this for sure. She liked to party and even partied the month her daughter was supposedly kidnapped. There is no evidence though that Casey has a temper, was subject to outbursts or abused Caylee. Prosectution never brought one person forward that could claim these things and skeletal analysis seems to confirm she was not abused.

It should also be pointed out Casey apparently never tried to run while her daughter was missing or she was out of jail.

Even now jail personal says she has never been in trouble and is a model inmate. Which to me goes along with Casey just being lazy and not a cold blooded killer. Casey is happy to just get a shower and be fed for the most part and not have to worry about anything but herself.

I should put out on Fathers Day 2008 Casey is alleged to have had a fight, not physical, with her mom. This is unconfirmed and HAS NOT been introduced in court.

Casey was at some point offered a plea deal of 8 years and turned it down. She has been in jail for most of the past three years.

Now my opinion, I believe Casey was extremely lazy, she got knocked up(too lazy to even use birth control), rarely had a job apparently and lived at home apparently not paying any rent. I believe this behavior was put up with, condoned by the parents who consistently buried their head in the sand. As parents, and as a parent you know you will die likely before your children, how understanding your daughter is immature do you not teach her life lessons? How did George and Cindy not sit down constantly and make sure Casey had appropriate insurance and go over bank statements and check stubs and make sure she was saving and saving for a house, etc.? This blows my mind. If they had they would have, they would have known Casey did not have a job. Although they deny it, they say they trusted Casey 100%, how could you, she had gotten knocked up basically as a teenager. I don't believe this almost pathological lying began overnight. Why would you allow Casey to have sleepovers with boyfriends? These are not the actions of a normal family.

I believe at some point, Casey to go out began drugging her daughter I believe with benadryl or something similar. I believe this was intially effective and allowed Casey to go out without having a sitter for Caylee at times, I believe she would just leave her in the car. I believe at some point this became ineffective, you develop a tolerance for anything. Casey then began looking for other things and came across chloroform. Obviosuly, chloroform is much more dangerous than benedryl.

I don't believe Casey meant to kill Caylee but overdosed her and found her daughter dead and panicked and because of family tensions never felt she could go to them. The evidence seems to line up with this as chloroform was detected in high concentrations in Casey's car.

Onto the ducttape, the ducttape was apparently found on or near Caylee's face, it is unclear. It has no skin cells or dna on it. Some will argue water and bugs washed anything away. I find that hard to believe if it was tightly wrapped around Caylee as the prosection alledges. What I believe, Casey did put a piece of tape over Caylee's mouth, Caylee was deceased, the tape was a metaphor to "keep the secret" and keep the "family secrets", a small heart sticker was alleged to be on the tape, the evidence is somewhat unclear on this. I believe the sticker may have existed and showed a part of Casey loved Caylee.

How do I think this ends? I doubt the "truth" will ever come out. There are atleast four jurors I can see causing a hung jury. One, 4, seems anti prosecution, taking notes only when defense talks. Three jurors sit in the back together and are Casey's age, I suspect one or all of them could be sympathetic to Casey. I believe the jury will hang. I think one, some, many will have an issue with a person with no violent past, suddenly lost it and plotted to kill Caylee, and many will have issues with the ducttape. I just do not see all these people being on the same page given the evidence.

I have doubts Casey will be retried given the costs, finding a new jury, no new evidence, etc. I think the prosection had one shot. I think ego got involved on a murder one charge. Case I believe would have been a slam dunk, largely leaving out the ducttape, focusing on a lazy Casey, a factor of an accident, and the chloroform evidence which to me is their best physical evidence by far. A murder 2/manslaughter would have been much easier to prove and for a jury to get together on and come to a conviction.

I also believe someone early on had a theory similar to me in the prosecuters office hence the deal for 8 years.

If Casey is convicted which I put at less than 25%, I see no way she gets the death penalty. Her parents while no longer speaking to Casey, they try, Casey refuses ,will beg for her life. Juries also are now a days very reluctant to put anyone to death.

I reserve the right to alter my opinion if Casey takes the stand, I find that unlikely or the defense has a bombshell.

Again, this is just my opinion, if you have questions, please post in the comments, please do not comment on the nuances of the case as I don't want comments to become a fight. This case speaks to many things, young people having sex that shouldn't be, adoption, kids just not getting it, work ethics, parents that want to be friends with their kids and not parents, the list goes on and on. Above all, its sad.

It also speaks to our prison system, are we really going to lock someone up in their twenties in a case like this where the most valuable thing is yes, a consequence but more importantly therapy for Casey. Are we going to spend 50k a year for likely 40, 50, 60, 70 years to keep her in prison. This to me is a case where we should try and get this person on the right track and achieve redemption.

Looks like the wedding prep has started! Bride-to-be Kristin Cavallari keeps her enviable figure in shape Wednesday during a kickboxing lesson in L.A.

She's used to photographers snapping her picture, often in a bikini on the beaches of California. But for her wedding next spring to Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, Kristin Cavallari really wants to wow people.

"I'll probably keep up my regular gym routine for the coming months ... until spring. And then probably two months before [the wedding] I'll go at it harder," says the former Hills star, 24.

But it's not just the gym that will get Cavallari wedding ready. She plans on modifying her diet, too.

"If I eat really healthy, then I'll probably cut out alcohol for a month or two before my wedding," says Cavallari, who as it is generally sticks to fruit, vegetables and fish or chicken, with very little processed food.

Since dating Cutler, Cavallari says she's grown much more confident with herself: "He makes me comfortable. I've dated other guys, and I've felt like I'm not skinny enough. But with Jay, I've always felt really comfortable in my skin."

Still, the bride-to-be isn't getting ahead of herself – and tried on wedding dresses. "All I know is, strapless," she says. "That's as far as I've gotten!"

Called The Fame Game, the Hills alum's upcoming trilogy is set in the reality TV universe, and features Madison Parker, an ambitious, ruthless character from the L.A. Candy series who's ready to become a star in her own right. In her way? Backstabbing family friends, dogged paparazzi and one media scandal after the next!

"We took the mean girl of the [L.A. Candy books], spinning her off," Conrad, 25, tells Us of The Fame Game's tough protagonist Madison. "This series is about a girl who loves everything that fame is, and that's all she's ever really wanted," Conrad explains. "[Madison] has fun with the press, she enjoys the attention, she welcomes scandal!"

If Madison sounds familiar (Heidi Montag, perhaps?), Conrad assures Us her characters aren't based on anyone real. "No. We have fun with it! We kind of take [Hollywood] stereotypes. With a clothing empire to run as well (her third line debuts this fall), when does Conrad write? "Between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m.," Conrad tells Us. "My phone doesn't ring, and there's nothing on TV!" Is Conrad's longtime beau, actor Kyle Howard, an L.A. Candy devotee? "He read my first book, which was very sweet," Conrad says, laughing. "I told him he didn't have to read the rest. "I don't think he's the target market!"

The paperback edition of Conrad's third L.A. Candy book, Sugar and Spice, goes on sale today.

Early life

Kane is the only daughter of Becky and John Staub.She grew up in Phoenix, Arizona[4] where she attended Mohave Middle School. She is an alumna of Valley Youth Theatre. She attended Saguaro High School for one year, before moving to Los Angeles.

Career

In 2007, Kane played her first starring role as well as her first theatrical role, in the theatrical motion picture Bratz: The Movie as Meredith Baxter Dimly, the film's primary antagonist. She performs two of the songs on the film's soundtrack.

In 2008, she acted in the Disney Channel Original Movie, Minutemen, as Stephanie Jameson. She appeared in one episode of Wizards of Waverly Place, and she appeared in the movie Starstruck. She played the role of Stella Malone, the stylist and long time best friend of the band JONAS in the Disney Channel series Jonas L.A.. In 2010, Kane began co-starring in the Disney Channel animated series Fish Hooks voicing the role of Bea.

In 2010, Kane filmed a web series called "The Homes" directed by John Cabrera. The series premiered on January 27, 2011 on LOCKERZ.com.

In February 2011, Kane was announced as a dancing contestant on season 12 of Dancing with the Stars. Her professional partner was announced in March and it was Dancing with the Stars two-time champion, Mark Ballas. The season began on March 21, 2011.

Dancing with the Stars contestant Chelsea Kane’s biggest fan is former Laguna Beach star Stephen Colletti – and Radar Online has an exclusive picture of the two getting cozy.

The photo shows the two embracing each other at the after party following the premiere night of the latest season of Dancing with the Stars on March 21, in which Colletti was in attendance.

“Chelsea and Stephen are definitely into each other,” an insider who was at the party told Radar Online.

“I saw them kiss at least three times and they were being really lovey-dovey. You could tell he was just so proud of her.”

Just four days later Kane took to her Twitter account calling Colletti “handsome.”

“My apartment is appliance-less. Opened my door to a handsome @StephenColletti standing there with a brand new microwave. #thelittlethings,” she tweeted.

Before last week’s show Colletti tweeted his support saying, “@ChelseaKane dances her little/big heart out tonight and her hard work will show.”

Colletti, 24, infamously dated reality-TV star Lauren Conrad when they taped together on Laguna Beach and then briefly dated actress Hayden Panettiere.

Kane, a 22-year-old Disney star, previously dated The Summer Set lead singer Brian Dales – who penned the song Chelsea in her honor.

“I’m not sure how serious Chelsea and Stephen are yet,” the source told Radar Online.

“But it looks like they have a good thing going for now.”

It's rather ironic that every1 is so scared about the radiation in Japan, yet WE dropped two atomic bombs on them in the last world war.

First, that was war time, Japan was aggressively moving to expand their power, had already attacked Pearl Harbor and was capable of fighting on for years if we had not dropped the bombs. Melissa Carter of the Bert Show announced on Wednesday that she would be exiting the Bert Show on April 15th.

The reason given was simply she wished to pursue other things.

Likely, there were are number of factors involved, a desire for a family, the wear and tear of early mornings on a kidney transplant and quite simply, not being a major factor on the Bert Show after all these years.

I'm sure Melissa on a major market morning show is a great victory for the gay community and i'm certain she has a huge fan base there and I can see where they would be quite proud of her. That all said, of the main four, I would say most would be far more distraute if Bert, Jeff or Jenn exited.

As a conspiracy theorist, would I be shocked if behind the scenes Bert did not push to have her renewed? Not at all. Bert through the years complained of Melissa being late and I never got the idea Bert was her biggest fan but then the way Bert drools over Jenn, anyone else would come up short. I also think Bert may realize the show needs new blood and it was a good time to usher someone aside.

For the Bert Show it is a great opportunity to breathe new life into a fledgling and sometimes very stale show. It would be a true shame if they move Wendy a seat over and make her one of the main four. I assume they will add a woman to maintain the balance of the show. Personally, I would like to see a new person come in and call the others on their BS. A confident young woman looking to move up and a possible rival to Jenn would be a truly great addition. Adding the occasional cat fight to the show would be genius. Likely though the powers that be, Bert included, will bring in a blaise wall flower to not shatter the "stars" egos.

Elle Duncan could be a great addition possibly. Shannon Wiseman would be great and I suspect would drive Jenn crazy. Nene Leakes could be very good too I suspect.

All the best to Melissa in whatever she decides to do moving forward.

On her blog dated January 29, Darlene Egelhoff - mother of Heidi Montag - writes a shocking entry outlining the night that she “thought might be my last” due to an adverse reaction to sleeping pills while she was drinking alcohol.

Heart palpitations, which she admits to suffering from since childhood, but not at an alarming rate, increasingly got worse leading her to become depressed, she claims.

“I have been literally tortured with chronic insominia [sic], not allowing people to sleep is a form of torture used in the military.

“I have been not sleeping for even one minute for continuous nights with a few hours here and there over the course of weeks. I have been delirious and hallucinogenic [sic].”

She goes on to write that her condition forced her to get a generic form of the prescription sleeping aid Ambien, which she inadvertently took with wine, a type of behavior that led to her brother’s suicide, she admitted.

“I was loving them (the sleeping pills). I had been on them for a couple weeks when I had a bad reaction, likely because I was also drinking wine which it says not to do I discovered later.

“My brother Rip always joked that those labels were wrong, that all medications were way better with alcohol! He also enjoyed many drugs recreationally for the majority of his adulthood which likely contributed to his depression and ulitimaltey [sic] taking his own life.”

Addressing her history of heart palpitations, Egelhoff said she grew “groggier and had felt pressure and pain building and increasing in my head over the course of many days, becoming toxic and severely depressed with no alcohol consumption.”

It was so severe she thought she was having a heart attack.

“My heart started pounding and wouldn’t stop racing. At the same time, I felt an intense tightening and pain surrounding my heart, I thought I might be having a heart attack,” she said.

Egelhoff writes that she’s “working a lot more”, but didn’t seek medical attention because of her dire financial situation.

“I have no insurance and no money so my decision was weighted in favor of waiting it out.”
