LC's Blog from 10/31/2007

As you are reading this and hopefully enjoying my weekly posts, you should also know Southern California has been plagued by wildfires for the past week. These fires have hit close to home for me as my family still lives in Orange County which was an area effected by the blaze. People have had to evacuate their homes and over 2,000 people have lost homes. Thankfully our firefighters have worked hard and all but one of the fires have been contained. Hopefully by the time this posts they will all be under control.
First, I want to say to everyone reading that was directly effected by the fires my heart goes out to you and my thoughts and prayers arewith you and your families. I also want to thank the firefighters, law enforcement, volunteers and the American Red Cross for everything they have done. I hope that we all take a moment and think about what people maybe going through and how we can help them. The American Red Cross is the best place to start.
You can click here to help or call 1-800-help-now (1-800-435-7669).
The Red Cross needs donations and volunteers

Thank you
