Whitney PORT takes the baton from Lauren CONRAD and gets the COSMO cover!
If i'm MTV I am not hitching my wagon to Whitney. She has less personality than Lauren, she has worse style, her friends are as boring as she is, MTV take advice and kick Whitney to the curb.

Whitney is way smarter and not so full of herself, as Lauren is. I think Whitney's just not that comfortable in front of the camera but if I were to choose one as a friend, it'd definitely be Whitney. Lauren has more charisma on camera though.
It seems Whitney is the bigger star now though. Lauren is doing the teen versions while Whitney is on the main magazine.
I don't know that I would say way smarter 10:38 but in terms of watchable tv, Whitney is just not watchable compared to Lauren.

I don't think Whitney is boring per se, I think they edit that stuff out. She said on Kimmel that she's brutally honest but that they edit that out because they don't like that part of her personality. There were a couple of funny moments on The Hills with Whitney like the scene where she asked the model guys "wanna take your shirt off?", and then the time when Lauren asked her if she thought a guy was cute and she was just like "No!".
I think the problem with The City isn't Whitney but the overall boring cast. Erin, Jay, Adam, Allie, Samantha, they're all so incredibly boring. The only fun character is Olivia and she doesn't get that much camera time. If The Hills was filled with those characters, it'd be equally boring imo. Lauren isn't so fun on her own, especially not lately.

Hmm, Lauren was on Cosmo last year, Whit will never be on LC's level, she doesn't have a fan base.
Whitney will never be Lauren. Their is just nothing about her that I even like.
I think if Whitney was blunt and controversial that mtv would be all about showing it, I just think shes a bore.
