Per her daughter Melissa, Joan was removed from life support and quietly and peacefully passed at about 1:15 EST this afternoon.
One of the best comments I saw in regards to Joan was she was an original and one of a kind and in a day of following and impersonation and group think, that made her all the more special.
Her unique perspectives and filterless commentary will be sorely missed.
