The 25-year-old -- who was proposed to, and then unceremoniously dumped for runner-up Molly Malaney six weeks later by Jason Mesnick on national TV -- showed up at a dance studio in West Hollywood with her insurance agent boyfriend, Ty.

Rycroft says in Us Weekly's newest issue that she has been quietly dating her new beau.
"We've been really good friends, but the timing was never right," she tells Us. "With all this going on, he's my support system. It's funny how things happen."

Rycroft recently joined Dancing With the Stars and wowed judges with a high-scoring routine. She has been attending daily dance rehearsals to keep the momentum going for this Monday's show.

Aww that's so mean! I'm happy for Melissa, she seems to be doing really well, and if this guy treats her well, that it all that matters. It's a step up from Jason regardless. At least he's built and fit. Kinda looks like her bodyguard.
You can't judge his looks by this one picture. It must be hard to look natural when you are not used to having cameras in your face.
Either way, looks aren't everything. Good for Melissa.
