I firmly believe in the notion of date night. No matter how busy we get, William and I always make a point to schedule in at least one per week. It’s important to have that time as a couple to connect, relax and just enjoy each other’s company.
Now, date night doesn’t have to be anything fancy. It can be as simple as grabbing frozen yogurt together or taking a stroll as the sun sets. And during summer when the weather is warmer and the nights are longer, the options for date night are endless. From hitting a beach boardwalk to enjoying a picnic in the park, there are so many fun date ideas to try out this sunny season.
So, to give you lovebirds a little inspiration, here are 10 summery ideas for your next date night:
Under the BoardwalkIf you live close to the beach, take your date to the nearest beach boardwalk for an afternoon or evening of rides, games, and good food. If you don’t have a boardwalk nearby, an amusement park would be a fun summer date spot too.
Eat InSometimes staying in for dinner can be even more fun than going out. Cook your significant other dinner using fresh summer ingredients like tomatoes, eggplant, and summer squash. Take advantage of the warm weather and serve your delicious dinner outside on a candlelit bistro table.
Picnic in the ParkPack up a picnic basket, grab a blanket and head to the park for an easy, relaxing and romantic date night. To make it a little more special, make some of your beau’s favorite finger foods, throw in some of my lavender lemonade, and bring a portable speaker set to your favorite Spotify station to set the mood.
Frozen YogurtOne of my favorite easy date ideas is grabbing froyo with my guy. Especially in the summer when the nights are warm, it’s fun to pick our favorite flavors, choose our own toppings, and sit outside and enjoy a frozen sweet treat.
Bike It OutThere’s something so sweet about the idea of renting a couple of bikes (or using your own if you happen to have them), and heading out for a leisurely bike ride around town. It’s a great way to unplug (no texting while biking!), see the sights and spend quality time with your love.
Take Me Out to the BallgameGet tickets to a local baseball game and take your beau for your next date night. There’s something about watching a ballgame on a hot summer night that feels very nostalgic. Extra points for catching a foul ball!
As the Sun SetsThere’s really nothing more romantic than watching the sun set. When I’ve had a long day or week, I love to go for a walk or hike with William and our pups during the magic hour. A bonus of this date idea is that it doesn’t cost anything, and it counts as a little added workout. Win-win!
Drive It InHeading to a drive-in movie on a warm summer night sounds just lovely, doesn’t it? You can even pack up a picnic basket with snacks and beverages, bring blankets that you can cuddle underneath in your car and enjoy a fun flick under the stars.
Food Truck FunThese days there are almost as many food trucks as there are restaurants. Take advantage of this, and spend your next date night hitting up the local food trucks. You can also find local street fairs filled with handmade items, art, and lots of food trucks. It’s nice to have a casual date like this every once in a while.
DaycationIf you and your man can block off a whole weekend day for a date, a daycation is a fun idea. Find a place not too far from where you live, look up some fun, touristy things to do there, make a dinner reservation and head on out! It’s always fun exploring a new place with your love, and if you don’t have enough time off to take a real vacation this is the perfect compromise.
Do you have any summer date night ideas to add to the list?

Bachelorette Andi Dorfman called a slut for fantasy suite exploits!
If Andi Dorfman thought Nick Viall went "below the belt," there's no telling what she'll have to say about Bob Beckel. During an episode of Fox News' "The Five," co-host Beckel got very vocal about the "Bachelorette" and her nights in the infamous Fantasy Suite.
"She's a slut!" he declared. "I'm not kidding you. She sleeps with someone else, and then doesn't tell the guy about it. This is what America's come to, this crap."
"Bachelorette" fan and fellow co-host Andrea Tantaros quickly chimed in, "Are you kidding me right now? Excuse me, Bob! You probably sleep with a different woman every night."
"I'm not on some Bachelor, Bachelorette," he exclaimed.
"Those in glass boudoirs, Beckel, those in glass boudoirs!" Tantaros replied.
Beckel later apologized for using the word "slut" to describe "the woman who slept with two guys."
Talk of Dorfman's escapades in the Fantasy Suite began on Monday, July 28, when rejected contestant Nick Viall revealed the pair had had sex during their night together.
"If you weren't in love with me, I'm just not sure why, like, why you made love with me," the Milwaukee native questioned Josh Murray's fiancee, noting that their night together was "fiance-type stuff."
Dorfman called his comments "below the belt" and in a follow-up interview the next day, winner Murray added, "Yeah, to be honest, it was very classless and disrespectful."
But Beckel's co-host Greg Gutfeld agreed with him, noting, "You're on a reality show where you're making out with guys every day. And now all the sudden he says something honest and you go, ‘Oh, wow, you just stepped over.' Nothing is private when you do a reality show."

So Andi Dorfman picks Josh on the Bachelorette finale......WHY?
If you watched the show, you saw Nick pretty much lead the whole way, so what happened in the home stretch?
First, Andi sexed it up much more for Josh's dates much more than she did for anyone else. She was always trying to impress Josh. Wanted to hear the "I love you" from Josh more than anyone.
All of that said, Nick put himself out there the whole year and Andi seemed to love it.
My view, one, something went wrong in the bed. Josh seemed to pull even or in the lead after the fantasy suite. Was Nick a trainwreck in bed or was Josh just that damn good?
But brass tax to me is this: Andi is a 7 and Josh is atleast an 8, many think he is much hotter than that, Nick is about a 7 too. Andi realized she could outkick the coverage with Josh, i'm guessing her friends swooned over Josh much more than Nick on the parent visit. Andi is still young and figured hell, i'll have a good time with Josh for at least a few months and maybe I really will fall in love with him. Why pick the7 when you are young and can get the 9? I really do think that's what happened at the end. I have a chance at the 9, why am I going to pick the 7.
Now, let's get into is Nick a jackass for outing Andi on live tv that they had sex on the overnights? Yes, he is, it's not classy. I saw a funny tweet that said Nicks note was "come back to me or on live tv I tell the world we had sex". But truth is that info was online for a few weeks so he really didn't break news to fans of the show. Also, would it have been avoided if she didn't wait to talk to him? Also, it does not scream class to "f" them both.
I thought by the end of the show Andi was full of herself and that spelled the end of Nick.
Here's great audio of Nick talking to a friend right after Andi dumped him.

Nicks thoughts on Josh:
“Yeah, like, Josh won’t say sh*t. Like, he’ll do whatever she wants. He’s not that…he didn’t open up, he just kinda…he just eats, sleeps, and sh*ts and like, has a bad temper, and…you know, and…I mean, he’s really competitive yeah…he’s super emotional, he’s really insecure, and…ummmm, and he uhhhhh….it uhhhhhh….(pause to stuff his face with Cheetos)…and ummm…forgot what I was gonna say…oh and he’s incredibly set in his ways…”

Andi Dorfman already planning million dollar wedding to Josh Murray on ABC's tab?
It’s only been a couple months since Andi Dorfman accepted the proposal from her final Bachelor, but is the star already planning a wedding?!
Although she hasn’t even gone public with her engagement, the The Bachelorette star already has wedding planning in the works, according to Life & Style.
An alleged insider spills to the magazine that the new reality TV duo “want to get married as soon as possible, and ABC will shell out more than $1 million to air the wedding.”
“There’s no budget when it comes to these weddings,” the source says, noting “They spend night after night on the phone together, talking about the themes, colors and flowers. Andi wants a traditional wedding with Southern flair. They even send each other pictures of their ideas!”
RumorFix reached out to ABC for comment but our calls were not returned.
This would not shock me, I think Josh blew through his nearly million dollar signing bonus and these two will do anything to cash in their quasi fame in the coming year.

The Bachelorette - Andi Dorfman, Chris, Josh and Nick
First, I know the west coast will still be watching tonight but anyone who has watched and expects to see Chris win was watching a different show. Its one of the worst things about the show is the structured format because Chris really should have been gone weeks ago, Andi really had not much of a connection with him. The last hour of the show was brutally boring.
Onto Nick, he has really had the best connection with Andi all season, the book tonight was cute and going to room after one of the dates was being a real man. If all the rumors are true and Josh wins, it will be interesting to see why Andi goes with Josh. Nick, to me, comes across like a real man who really cares about her. He has come across the most genuine to me during the whole show. Did he play some games, probably, like holding off the "I love u" but frankly we all play games in "real life".
Josh, I don't really have a knock against him outside of this nonsense that he didn't date the last ten years, I mean come on. And the whole, i'm shy bit in the beginning was so silly. Andi has earmarked Josh as her type since early on and she clearly sexes it up oufit wise for Josh more than anyone else. She comes across needy with Josh, the whole can Josh separate from his brother was needy and insulting. I didn't see the needy side with any of the other guys. Does she see Josh as above her on the dating scale? Looks scale? Is that where it comes from? Or is that the real Andi?
I'm also not sure Joshy is really ready as he says to settle down.
I think if Andi picks Josh I don't see it lasting more than 6 months from the reunion show. The needy thing will get old for Josh. Now, if she's out to have a good time for a while, more power to her. Seems to me, Nick would actually be a good fit for a husband.
Show does beg the question, do we always end up with our "type" because Nick clearly seems like the best fit.
I'd like to see the cameras follow one of these couples in real life without the trips and glitz.

Poor Dennis, Kristin Cavallari's father!
Kristin Cavallari is happily married to her Chicago Bears hubby Jay Cutler and the two have their second baby on the way, but RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned her father isn’t having the same luck, because his second wife has filed for divorce.
In court documents obtained by Radar, Kristin’s step-mother, Nicole King, filed for divorce from the Laguna Beach star’s father on July 3, 2013 and claims they separated on June 25.
Read The Documents
The separation came just six months after Radar’s exclusive report that Dennis had been living a double life, allegedly cheating on Nicole with a mistress named Tracy Sill.
Filed in Orange County, Nicole asked for a dissolution of marriage citing irreconcilable differences — asking for both spousal support and attorney fees and costs. According to the petition, Nicole, 42, estimates her attorney fees to total $15,000 and is asking for the spousal support to be determined by a forensic accountant.
“I am currently employed as a Yoga teacher with Bikram Yoga Laguna Beach. I get paid $60 a class. My income varies depending on the availability of classes that I can teach,” the documents read.

“Our income during the marriage was extremely high. Our lifestyle is reflective of the income that the Respondent earned being self-employed. It is my hope to hire a forensic accountant in order to help prepare a gross-adjusted net income available for support.”
Nicole broke down her expenses, which estimates she needs roughly $21,646.75 per month — including $8,000 for rent, $1,062 for healthcare, $900 for groceries, $1,050 to eat out, $575 for utilities, $250 for her cell phone, $1,500 for clothes, $3,100 for entertainment, gifts and vacations, $1,369 in auto expenses and $1,172 in credit card bills.
Documents show Dennis to bring in about $17,000 per month in income. On Sept. 30, 2013 the court ordered Dennis to pay Nicole $5,302 a month until she gets remarried or passes away.

The divorce is still pending and a decision on attorneys fees has yet to be made. Dennis and Nicole were married on Oct. 18, 2003.

Whitney Port planning to marry!
She's getting ready to walk down the aisle and in the midst of planning, Whitney Port dished to Brides magazine about her big day.
Chatting about everything from where she will say "I Do" to her fiance's involvement in the planning process, the 29-year-old is really excited for her nuptials!
On her wedding location:
"We want to make it a full weekend celebration. It's just difficult finding a place that's easy for everyone to get to and that won't require our guests to spend a lot of money. We just want it to be a fun environment for everyone. I feel like once we find the location, then everything will fall into place."
On her fiance's help:
"He has a strong opinion on some things, but he also wants to make me happy. Like one thing he wants is to make sure that there's not a strict curfew where the party ends at 10. When it comes to design and décor, he will take a step back."
On her beauty look on the big day:
"It's dependent on where the wedding is and what the dress looks like, but I don't see myself going super glam. I think less is more and I don't want to worry about fixing my hair and makeup all night."

Biggest story in Alabama yesterday: Thirsty Katherine Webb gets married to Alabama Quarterback!
Touchdown!
Katherine Webb is officially off the market. The former Miss Alabama married AJ McCarron at United Methodist Church in Orange Beach, Ala., on Saturday, her rep confirmed to People.
The couple's family played a prominent role in the ceremony with the Cincinnati Bengals’ quarterback’s brother, Corey, acting as best man, and Webb's sister, Laurie, was one of 10 bridesmaids. Webb's father, Alan, walked her down the aisle. Also on hand to witness their matrimony were friends and McCarron's teammates, reports Alabama Media Group.

On Friday, Webb posted a photo on Instagram of their wedding bands.
The 23-year-old NFL star and his new bride began dating in 2012 and were engaged in March after McCarron presented Webb with a unique engagement ring, which

It's no secret ... there's no love lost between Kim Kardashian and Reggie, so it's pretty interesting Brody chose to go.

Lauren Conrad talks about her fitness and her diet!
Lauren Conrad’s wedding weight loss routine includes a sensible low-carb diet, running and hiking.
While many brides starve themselves and work out like crazy before their weddings, the laid-back Conrad insists she won’t go to extremes before she marries law student William Tell this fall.
“I’m not a huge fan of the gym, to be honest,” Conrad told People. “I just like getting out, like going on a hike, going on the kayak, and going for a run on the beach.”
Lauren, who previously revealed she follows a low-carb diet, refuses to starve because she loves to eat. “I really love food,” she said. “I’m not good at dieting.”
Conrad said her usual diet consists of lots of vegetables, organic salad greens and lean protein like turkey, tuna, and beans.
Her exercise program includes an hour of weight-training and treadmill workouts twice a week. On alternate days, the formers “Hills” star hikes for 45 minutes in L.A.’s Runyon Canyon.
Lauren’s wedding dress will no doubt be elegant and gorgeous, since she’s a fashion designer with her own successful clothing line.
Conrad revealed her fashion tips in her bestselling book, Lauren Conrad Style, and her makeup and skincare secrets in Lauren Conrad Beauty.
Kim Kardashian and Jessica Simpson Went Low-Carb
Conrad’s relaxed wedding diet plan is diametrically opposed to the strict weight loss regimens followed by recent newlyweds Kim Kardashian and Jessica Simpson.
Kardashian followed a super-strict low-carb ketogenic-style Atkins diet that limited her daily carb intake to less than 60 grams. Kim credited her ketogenic regime for her stunning 56-pound weight loss in six months.
The low-carb, high-fat ketogenic diet accelerates weight loss by making your body burn fat (instead of glucose) for fuel, explained Dr. Jeff Volek, author of The Art and Science of Low Carbohydrate Living.
Similarly, Jessica worked out rigorously almost every day and followed a low-carb Weight Watchers diet to lose 70 pounds before her July 5 wedding. In the two weeks leading up to her wedding, Simpson reportedly followed a strict vegan diet to slim down even more.

“I have a plant in my garden, and it’s so big now. I love to go out there and pick the leaves,” says the onetime star of MTV’s quasi reality show, The Hills. “I throw a leaf in my water, salads, pop a piece in my mouth to freshen my breath. Everything.”
Conrad was talking Wednesday evening from the Mondrian Miami Beach Hotel, where the fashion designer and lifestyle expert was hosting a launch event for low-calorie Malibu Island Spiced Rum, which contains healthy sweetener du jour, Truvia. LC’s cocktail of choice: a mojito, fully loaded with mint sprigs.
The heavy rain had died down; earlier in the day was a different story.
“For some reason I always end up in Miami during the mean season,” says the L.A. Candy author with a laugh. “The last three or four trips it rained on me. I walked on the beach this morning, and it was stunning. Then I saw the black clouds and said, ‘Uh-oh it’s coming again!’ Bad timing.”
Everything else is going swimmingly for the Laguna Beach native, who is engaged to law student/ Just For You singer William Tell. Though Conrad wouldn’t disclose too many details of the nuptials, rumor is it’s pretty soon. She and her closest galpals (including ex Hills castmate Lo Bosworth) celebrated her bachelorette party last month in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Conrad did gladly divulge some style trends she is seeing for fall. Caveat: Not all may apply to South Floridian women.
“You guys do it so differently down here, and it’s fantastic,” she says. “You do it brighter, shorter and sexier.”
OK, even though the crop top is “kind of having its final moments,” one big item to look out for is something called a shootie, “an open-toe, medium- to high-heeled shoe-boot hybrid,” according to the fashionista whose two lines, LC Lauren Conrad and Paper Crown, are sold at Kohl’s. “It’s so comfortable, and you can wear it with pants, dresses or shorts.”
More words of fashion advice: “Things were getting a little crazy for awhile, and now it’s scaling back and getting more classic, which I like. I’m seeing dresses getting very big again. But you guys in Miami really can do your own spin on anything.”

When Lauren Conrad pushes open the
door to a chic midtown Manhattan restaurant,
a dozen power-lunching corporate
types crane their heads to stare. And
with good reason: Wearing a body-skimming
burgundy skirt, a sexy black bustier
top, and 5-inch Christian Louboutin
heels and with her cascading blond
waves, it's hard not to notice her. But
something's off. Oh, that's right — today,
there are no cameras trailing her.
As the star of MTV's hit reality show
The Hills, Lauren has lived nearly five
years of her life in the public eye. Still,
she says, "I feel like I'm a pretty normal
22-year-old. An actor friend told me the
best way to deal with attention is to exist
in the 3 feet around you when you're
out with friends — you can't be worried
about people watching you."
But those millions of watchful eyes
have helped Lauren parlay her reality star
status into an endorsement deal
with Mark cosmetics and her own fashion
line, Lauren Conrad Collection —
launched in partnership with MTV —
now being sold in 500 boutiques across
the country as well as at Nordstrom and
Bloomingdale's. (The line will go international
in 2009.) "I didn't do the show
to skip the line at a nightclub," she says
matter-of-factly. "I did it to help start a
business. I'm not
going to be able to
depend on this press
forever. I want to run
my company when
the show is done. I
want people to buy it
for the design and
not the label inside."
Lauren is so hands-on
with the clothing
line — characterized
by simple silhouettes and versatile jersey
and cotton pieces — that she's the
fit model for each design. "I try to think
of things that I or my friends would
want to wear," she says. (She named
some styles after her pals — obviously,
there's a Lo for Lauren
Bosworth, an Audrina
for Audrina Patridge,
and a Whitney for
Whitney Port.) As for
any negative reviews
her creations have gotten,
she says, "It's business.
Criticism comes
with it. Even if people
are rude, at least they're
talking about it!"
While she certainly
has a few detractors,
young women gravitate
toward Lauren because
they see themselves in
her. She is surprisingly
relatable for a girl who
grew up in affluent Laguna
Beach, California —
which is to say
she's fun-seeking, mildly insecure, tight
with her girls, and at times, boy crazy.
Lauren credits her normality to her
close-knit relationship with her family.
Growing up, she spent weekends going
fishing with her dad, who now weighs
in on her business decisions. She is also
close with her younger brother, Brandon,
and sister, Breanna (who appeared
on season three of Laguna Beach), and
admits to telling her
mother everything.
"I don't bother being
like, 'Mom, I met the
cutest boy last night!'
because she always goes 'I already know,'" Lauren says,
laughing.
Besides, it might
be tough to keep
track of those crushes.
In the past four years, Lauren's dated
costars Stephen Colletti, Jason Wahler,
Brody Jenner, and Doug Reinhardt. She
was also recently linked to My Boys'
Kyle Howard. "I don't have the best
dating track record," admits Lauren,
covering her face with her hands and
giggling. "I get bored easily. I can't
even commit to shoes right now!"
Like most young women, Lauren is
reluctant to settle down. "Dating is all
about the chase. It's fun! I'm at a point
where I feel like I need to be selfish."
But her single status also has to do
with the fact that being on a reality
show has made meeting men more
complicated. "I've tried dating guys
off the show, but it's hard. I'll do it to
have a seminormal relationship, but it
usually only goes for a date or two."
A few highlights — or should we say
lowlights? — from those dating adventures:
One dude ran out on the bill,
one was mute for the majority of the
date, and yet another (she later found
out) had made out with one of her gay
friends. "Whatever, bad dates make a
good story," she says, shrugging.
Ultimately, Lauren says, she's looking
for someone with a sense of humor.
"I make fun of guys when I like them.
I act like I'm 10 years old. I do it as a
test to see if they can laugh at themselves.
If they get sensitive, then it's
like, Um, this isn't going to work." Is
she the jealous type? "No," she says.
"That's why I always get cheated on...
by every boyfriend I've ever had."
It can be assumed that Lauren is
forgiving, since she's maintained ties
with her exes. "I'm always friends with
them," she says. "You loved something
about them; you just don't work as a
couple. Plus, exes give the best guy
advice." She continues: "I've asked
them what I did that annoyed them.
Brody said I'm too sensitive. Another
said I was too available. I met one guy
I liked, and I called Jason every time
the guy texted me to ask how to respond.
No one knows guys better than
guys — especially ones who know what
you're like in every situation."
thought they knew what Lauren was
like in every situation — that is, until
news broke that The Hills is actually
faux reality. Lauren readily owns up
to the fact that some of what viewers see is scheduled by a production team. "But it's never not me. It's just sometimes only a portion of me," she says. "We'll have the best night, but they're never going to use that because it's boring. It would be silly to
complain, because then we'd be on
a show nobody watched."
Currently, 4 million people tune in
each week, and for now, Lauren is
trying to come to terms with viewers'
perceptions of her. "I come off as
playing the victim a lot," she says. "It's
annoying. I had to stop twirling my
hair on camera because I looked like
an airhead. Sometimes I seem a bit
judgmental," she says, visibly cringing.
"I really do get along with 90 percent
of my friends' boyfriends! It was
just two in a row I didn't care for."
Clearly, one of the boyfriends she's
referencing is ex-BFF Heidi Montag's
boyfriend, Spencer Pratt. The feud
began when Heidi allegedly started a
rumor that Lauren had made a sex
tape (which she denies). So does Lauren
still believe Heidi instigated that
lie? "I know," she says firmly. "Some
people have no shame."
As the lunch crowd dwindles, Lauren
leans back in her seat, looking
contemplative. "The one thing I've
learned about friends is that the good
ones are rare. It's awful to have to
question someone's motives," she
says, then looks up and scans the restaurant
for the very first time. "I'm in
a world where I'm always being
judged. It forces you to purge some
insecurities, and it creates new ones.
But in Hollywood, you develop a
tough skin."

Lauren Conrad, are you working out for your wedding?
While some stars take an extremely disciplined approach to “shedding for the wedding,” Lauren Conrad‘s not sweating it - literally or figuratively.
“I’m not a huge fan of the gym, to be honest,” Conrad told WHO at Wednesday’s Malibu Island Spiced Summer Soirée in Miami, where she wore an Aqua dress and made floral leis. "When I have to go to the gym and put an hour in, I’m just staring at the clock."
The former star of The Hills is also surprisingly easygoing about what she eats. "I really love food ... I’m not good at dieting,” she said. “I try to make smart choices but just eat a little bit less.”
Keep up with your favourite celebrities in the pages of WHO Magazine by subscribing now.
But don’t expect to see Conrad in anything but tip-top shape for her upcoming wedding to law student William Tell - she gets her workouts in the California way. “I just like getting out, like going on a hike, going on the kayaks, going for a run on the beach,” she explained.
Conrad also appreciates a healthy cocktail and she’s been turning her fiancé into a fan as well. Sneakily. "Boys never want sugary drinks, but I feel like with these it’s like slipping your little kid broccoli," she said. "They don’t know you’re giving them a low-calorie beverage."

DID SELENA GOMEZ GET FAKE BOOBS?
She has been coming unglued thanks to the Biebs but this picture looks fake, like someone stuck her head on another body. Thoughts?
