Lauren Conrad a bridesmaid not yet a bride!

Preparing for her own "I Do's"! Lauren Conrad spent her weekend serving as a bridesmaid in the wedding of longtime friend Maura McManus. On Saturday, Aug. 16, the fashion designer, 28, posted several Instagram shots from the Ojai, Calif. service and reception, which used the hashtag "#oehmsweetoehm."

Bestselling author Conrad wore a cream, floor-length bridesmaid gown and wore her blonde locks down with large waves.

Her fiance William Tell also attended the festivities (she Instagrammed his name card), but the weekend was mostly about spending time with old friends. The former reality star posed in several photos with Laguna Beach and Hills costar Lo Bosworth and childhood pal Jilly Hendrix, who were also bridesmaids.

So Lo Bosworth is a Chef now....

This girl from Laguna Beach fame has had more careers than a monkey has bananas.  The latest is her self proclaiming on twitter she is chef now.  Well hell, i'm an astronaut.  Lo has frankly always driven me a little bananas.

So MTV is doing a retro day and reshowing Laguna, Season 2....

So all these years later, here are my thoughts...

Lauren has taken full advantage of the fame that came with the show and clearly remains the most famous of all of the cast.  I am surprised she hasn't found love and gotten married.  Knowing HS relationships rarely work out I am not surprised things did not work out with Jason or Stephen.

Am i surprised Kristin has not had more success?  Yes!!!!  I thought she would become a mega brand as well but i think her personality and not being nearly as affable as Lauren plays into that.  She got her QB too!  And a baby!

No shock on Jason, I thought he was a loser on the show and he has continued to be one off, he is the typical spoiled rich kid whose family money crippled him.

Stephen, I am surprised he found acting On One Tree and was actually watchable, i think he has a future in hosting.  Not surprised he's not married yet either.

Laguna is a good lesson for all HS age kids, have fun, don't invest too much in HS relationships, they don't last and realize while in the moment HS seems so important, it's really not a big deal.  Most of your lifelong friends will come in college.

I am surprised some of the bit players didn't make more of the opportunity.

Ten years from now, Lauren will probably still be in the news, Kristin and Stephen less so and it will be harder than ever to find info on the others.

I would luv to see MTV reunite the cast for two weeks somewhere but i doubt it will happen with everyone's schedule but it would be fun to see a few eps of the old gang staying under one roof.  So we'll just have to follow along as best we can with the help of twitter and the internet.

I  would also settle for another Lauren or Stephen or Kristin reality show, they would all be good tv.  Stephen and his GF or Lauren's life or Kristin and her baby.

It was a fun show that we all would loved to see LC and Stephen end up together but reality often ends up like real life in the end with HS being just that, a temporary stop in life.

Lo Bosworth is bringing out her inner Carrie Bradshaw for her new book. In "The Lo-Down," out now, the former "Hills" star doles out advice about dating, and she admits that her opinions in the book aren't much different from the ones she shared on the small screen.

"For me, on the show, I always found myself giving advice to my girlfriends and mostly advice about the men in all of our lives," she told MTV News. "So writing a book about relationships was a natural next step for me. Writing the book and writing about my experience has been almost cathartic in a way, and it really feels like when you wake up with your girlfriends after a great night out and you talk about the night before and about all these guys. It's really conversational. There's good tips. It's a fun read."

Bosworth took all her past boy experience and channeled it into the book, but it was one particular relationship that left her with her best piece of advice. "I wrote the book coming off a pretty bad breakup, and I realized the most important relationship lesson I've learned so far is first, you have to believe in who you really are ... and you can't compromise who that person is. That's what the book is really about," she explained. "Get out there and live your life! Do something for yourself!"

While cameras are no longer catching her words of wisdom, Bosworth said some of her "Hills" pals have checked out the book. "Lauren [Conrad] has read it and Stephanie [Pratt] has peeked through it," she said. "And they're really excited!"

Conrad, of course, has several books of her own on the market, and Bosworth took her friend's advice when it came to promoting the book.

"[Lauren] gave me a lot of advice — not necessarily about writing the book, but we have talked a lot about going on a book tour, and I was really anxious to go on a book tour," she said, adding that she was afraid the book might not be successful. "She said to me, 'You really almost have to have an alter ego. You have to be excited. You have to walk in the room confidently with a smile on your face and you can't show how nervous you are. ... What you put out there, it comes back.' [My alter ego is] just really happy and excited, because I get nervous a lot. I'm a little more shy than meets the eye."

Lauren Bosworth ended her long-term romance with Scott Hochstadt earlier this month, and there's already rumours of a budding new love connection with Australian Liam Hemsworth, Miley Cyrus' ex.

Miley and Liam called it quits in October and rumour has it that the playboy has wasted no time drying his tears and putting the moves on a newly-single Lo Bosworth.

According to Star Magazine Liam met up with Lo at LA's Supper Club and the two had an instant connection.

One insider revealed that while newly single Lo, was busy getting flirty with lots of guys, Liam really struck her interest.

“Lo was flirting with tons of men, but Liam really caught her fancy,” a Star informant divulged. “She was being very forward and frisky with him. She’s been calling and texting him constantly. She thinks he’s incredibly cute.”

It's Star Magazine who's credibility is about zero.  These two were probably at the same spot and probably never even spoke.  Sad for Lo, if she takes a 14 yr old's ex.

Lo Bosworth suggests working out at home!

One of my favorite things to do with my boyfriend is exercise with him. Considering he has a pro athlete past, he certainly knows all the right moves I should be doing. I like to think of him as my personal trainer, wink wink.




We do a lot of strength training when we exercise together, a lot of resistance work and squats combined with light weights. The best part is that we frequently do this outside of the gym, as all it takes to get a great work-out in with your BF is a few items and the willingness to sweat it out.



One of the dorkiest/coolest things I’ve taught Scott about is The Step-you know, the cute, rubbery platform that was popular in 90s era exercise classes? I saw The Step on an old 90210 episode on Soap Net recently (complete with Kelly in a thong leotard/neon shorts), which made me understand that The Step is not only a great work-out tool but an appropriate homage to the great women who’ve come before me. I love using this work-out tool because it allows me to get out of the gym and make a fool out of myself in the privacy of my living room. It really does awesome things for your butt when you dedicate yourself to steppin’ for a few minutes each day. I love to come up with little routines and throw hand weights into the mix for more sweaty fun. I’ve taught Scott some of my moves. You should see his high kick ;)



On the flipside, Scott has taught me about resistance training. He loves to use these resistance rubber bands for a stellar at-home work-out. I love dry shampoo. Not to cover dirty hair necessarily, as mine gets washed every day. I love dry shampoo as a styling tool. Whether it’s a spray or a powder, it has come onto the market in recent months as a stylists new go-to tool for creating the looks of the moment.
