When Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt finally walk down the aisle — for real — will Lauren Conrad be there for the nuptials? Mm, it's doubtful.
Out promoting her upcoming voice gig for Family Guy, Lauren was asked if she would be attending the rumored Speidi wedding. The Hills headliner giggled as she told reporters, "Probably not" — although she did note, "Yes, I was invited."
LC also isn't keen on stopping by Hills costar Audrina's new reality show that will focus on the aspiring actress' professional and personal life. "I feel like that's her thing," Conrad explained.
So what is Lauren doing with her time? While her clothing line may be on hold, she's been flexing her other creative muscles with such larks as Family Guy, airing May 3. "The idea in the episode is that they make fun of me for being dumb, and then discover that I'm actually a genius," Lauren says of the episode. It's a more exaggerated version of who I am, but fun to play."
That said, don't expect the reality star to make acting a full-time gig. "I've done cameos [on Greek and Privileged] and it was fun to do for the day, but it's not really something I'm interested in."
In June, Conrad is coming out with the first part in a fictional book series titled L.A. Candy, " based on a girl who moves to L.A. and signs up for a reality show. It's the story of what goes on behind the cameras," she explains.
Although Lauren based on her own experiences, Conrad claims L.A. Candy is more "inspired by" her life than an account of her own ride to reality fame. "I knew the situations [the main character] would be in and the things that go on, but I didn't exactly base it off specific people."
Lauren would have zero self respect to go to the wedding if she truly thought Speidi spread the sex tape scandal!
