I think you should start a separate blog, strictly for politics.....
You obviously are passionate about your views & are entitled to your opinions....I just dont feel like politics and The Hills mix very well, and its obviously alienating some of the people that visit your site.
Thats like having a blog that mixes posts about abortion & posts about "Rock of Love". One thing is so superficial and ridiculous & one is so controversial.
I, for one, am a little over the Obama bashing....and if I wanted to discuss politics, I definitely wouldnt come to a blog titled "I Hate LC" - and I think I'm safe in assuming that goes for a majority of the others.
I mean, its your site & to each his own....but may I suggest you just create a separate "I Hate Obama" site for all the political rants & keep this one strictly fun and light.
I think so funny people get all worked up over the blogger posting about Obama or politics once in awhile. Its not like they trick you with a headline about Lauren and then talk about Obama. Skip over the post if you don't like it. Or go to Perez, he has the same views as you, pro gay, pro Obama, you should love it there. To tell a blogger what to write about because you disagree is childish and stupid. It seems from reading here the blogger puts thrity minutes or so a day into the blog so I doubt they care how many readers they have. They seem to do it just for fun.
I don't believe I "TOLD" the blogger what to do at all. I said.. "I think you should..." "May I suggest..." and "Just a thought..."
I dont believe what I said was stupid, or childish. I did not bash CRS for their viewpoints. I even acknowledged it was THEIR blog and "to each his own".
To take a page out of your book - I think its SOO funny for you to get so worked up about a comment someone makes on a blog....a comment that is in no way rude or out-of-line. Maybe you should take some of your own advice - and skip over my comment if you dont like it. It seems awfully hypocritical for you to suggest I should keep my mouth shut & just let someone have an opinion....and yet, you could not keep your mouth shut and let me have an opinion.
If you ask me, the only childish/stupid comment is yours. I made sure I was not belittling or rude with my comment, because I know this isnt my blog.
