Heidi Montag eloped and reconciled with BFF Lauren Conrad in 2008 -- but she still thinks 2009 is going to be better!

"2009 is going to be the best year ever!" Montag screamed to the crowd at the Christian Audigier New Year's Eve soiree in Las Vegas.
Added husband Spencer Pratt: "Who's drunk? C'mon, this is Vegas! I can't hear you! Who is ready for 2009? We got 60 seconds to the best year of our lives. 2008 wasn't it...it's 2009!"
Pratt then encouraged the partiers to "find that girl you want to kiss! Or find that guy you want to kiss!"
The newlyweds then toasted glasses of Dom Perignon, quickly kissed and began to dance -- before heading out at just 12:20 a.m. to catch a flight to NYC.
