Are Kevin Connolly and LAUREN Conrad an item? Or is it Audrina Patridge?

So the rumors came out last week that Lauren was dating/and-or/hooking with E from Entourage. On Friday she said it wasn't true and laughed on the Ryan Seacrest show when asked. She then proceeded to throw Audrina under the bus and say they were an item and Audrina was hanging with him! This picture is of the three of them hanging back in February.
