CAUGHT in the ACT BABY!
Lauren Conrad, picking up a meal from Joan's on Third in Los Angeles – just a day after celebrating the launch of her Lauren Conrad clothing line at hot L.A. boutique Intuition.
• Victoria Beckham, also in to-go mode, grabbing soup at Whole Foods in a mini trench coat and miniskirt at New York's Columbus Circle. There with a bodyguard, Posh was "like a deer in headlights," a fellow shopper tells us. But nobody bothered Beckham, who's in New York for a series of shows with the Spice Girls.
• Paris Hilton, stocking up on Valentine's Day-themed lingerie from Only Hearts at Henri Bendel in New York. The heiress was "super sweet" to the staff, a source says.
• Back from his vacation at sea, John Mayer, partying with friends at Hollywood's S Bar. Surrounded by his pals, the singer held a drink and seemed really relaxed, laughing and joking with his friends.
• A single Eddie Murphy, returning to Las Vegas – this time to hang at Moon Nightclub. The actor (and seven guests) shared a table and drank vodka drinks all night.
• David Schwimmer, enjoying the duck soup at Bond Street restaurant at the Thompson Hotel in Beverly Hills. The former Friends star shared his late dinner with two male friends. One table away at the hotspot, Rod Stewart and wife Penny Lancaster held court with a group of friends – just a few feet from Russian tennis ace Maria Sharapova, glowing in a form-fitting black top and bangs.
