As a white person who grew up in the south, I do not believe it should be used at all. I understand there is an argument amongst black people like Taye Diggs that using it amongst black people is acceptable as it is black people taking back the word and giving it their own meaning. What do you think?
Quite honestly, I think it stupid to hear a black person call another black person the n-word. Quite honestly, slang in general is overused in this country and in a lot of ways is creating a generation of the unemployable as many people no longer know when it is acceptable to use slang and not proper english.
