Artie confessed on Monday's show that he was back on Heroin and had been in "rehab" in Miami. Later a listener called to say she had seen Artie on two occasions out in Miami. So I don't really think Artie was in any real rehab.
Immediatly, the calls began from "fans" to terminate Artie.
Artie is the best thing about the show and Howard said today Artie would not be fired. The guy is a comic genius so while I hope he kicks drugs and lives a long time, if he doesn't, he is still just too funny to kick off the show.
Now if I found out Lauren was on heroin I'm calling myself out as a hypocrite because I would put her on blast every day of the week.
