Spencer Pratt has told Usmagazine.com exclusively that he had nothing to with spreading a rumor that Lauren Conrad had a fling with Audrina Patridge's on/off beau Justin Bobby.
"I guess I shouldn't be surprised anymore that LC would choose to try and blame something on me," Pratt told Us. "The truth is I was asked about this yesterday and chose to say absolutely nothing out of respect for Audrina's feelings. Why LC continues to bring me up whenever she gets into trouble is beyond me."
He continued: "That being said, if it is true what she did with Justin, it doesn't surprise me. Anyone who watched Laguna Beach saw her trying to steal someone's boyfriend every week for 2 years. Honestly, I really think she needs to stop blaming someone who wants nothing to do with her for all of the problems she creates."
Reports surfaced Friday that Conrad hooked up with Patridge's motorcycle-riding,on-again, off-again fling (real name: Justin Brescia).

"I'm accused of being a bad friend, a slut and a liar," Conrad told Us on Friday.
"I would never hurt a friend like that!" she said.
She later blogged on her MySpace page, hinting that Pratt had something to do with it. "Hmmmmmm. I wonder who it could be? I'm baffled....What kind of person would enjoy watching blogs and the press tear me apart?"

"I woke up this morning and it seems like just about every gossip magazine or blog has a story about Lauren hooking up with Justin," Patridge wrote. "I'm not sure what to believe. Though Justin and I have not been exclusive for quite some time, these rumors are very confusing and hurtful."
She added: "I can't comment on whether they are true or false."

I completely believe 100% that Spencer started all this. Especially after watching last nights episode...he is smokin mad about Heidi reaching out to LC and now he is determined to bring LC down again. And of course use Audrina to get between Heidi and LC again....Heidi is friends with Audrina, has had way more interaction with her than LC and knows that Audrina is Heidi's only "friend" so why not spread that rumor. Justin Bobby just wants his spot in the limelight and why not tell Audrina he had a fling with her, he doesn't genuinely care about Audrina and neither Justin nor Spencer like LC...It makes perfect sense.

Audrina has very low self confidence and if Spencer really is able to manipulate Heidi, Audrina and Justin Bobby than it just shows how weak minded they all are.

I think she should have just kept her mouth shut. Opening your mouth in a situation like this just adds fuel to the fire. The ones that started this rumor want a reaction out of her, and that's exactly what she is giving them.
Remember the whole episode with Lindsay Lohan? The one where Bradon Davis and Paris Hilton called her a firecrotch and talked all that shit about her? Well, everyone acknowledged her and give her a thumbs up for taking the high road....by saying nothing at all in response to those losers.
