Highrise the Series: A Review.

So today I tuned into watch the first three webisodes. My expectations were low and quite honestly even my extremely low expectations were not met. Each webisode is about five minutes long so its no huge waste of time. I figured with a budget near zero that at best I could hope for some hot young actors and actresses starting out and a decent storyline and, well, I got neither.

The show centers around a couple how just moved from LA to Atlanta and based on their first conversation, I assume they are swingers. The other main couple is a black couple who lost money in couple number one's movie. The other charachters are a gay concierage who oggles the building guest in the workout room and Reese the sister of the wife of couple number one who apparantly was raped in New York. There is one other guy who apparantly works in advertising and who is the best looking of the highly average looking cast.

They could have found better looking people spending an hour at the Tavern at Phipps(If your from Atlanta, you know it) on any given afternoon or night.

My advice to Steve Barnes who produces the show, first, get a smoking hot cast and then get atleast a soap opera quality storyline and then I would likely come back for a look. Also, you might want to film more around Atlanta at different locations to atleast draw in the locals to the show.

I give the show a half star out of five.
